This applies to any language. With my non-native Spanish, I must not focus on the grammar, but speaking with meaning.
As for art/tool? I treat English like an art. But it is a tool in most contexts.
some times when I'm having a talking with someone I am afraid of making mistakes such as "am I sure if my vocabulary is good?" "what if I make mistake about a grammar point"? Sometimes is difficult and I try to give up but then I remember what are my goals. I got to going through this, no matter how shameful I can be I will not give up, I am so grateful about ur advices
